These Terms govern your use of the Laneo mobile app ("the App"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App is

The App is a study aid for car permit knowledge tests in the United States. Questions, explanations and summaries are written by us from publicly available state driver handbooks. They are not official test questions. Laws and handbooks change; always check your state's current official handbook. The App is not affiliated with any DMV or government agency, does not replace any required driver education, and does not guarantee that you will pass any test. Readiness figures are estimates, not predictions.

2. Subscriptions and one-time purchases

• Laneo Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (weekly or monthly) and as a one-time purchase (Permit Pass). Prices are shown in the App before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Permit Pass is a one-time purchase for car permit practice in the App. It does not include commercial (CDL) test preparation. Family Sharing is not included.

3. Refund request data

If you are 18 or older and turn on "Share usage for refund requests" in Settings, then when you ask Apple for a refund, information about how you used the App (for example, how much content you used) may be shared with Apple through our subscription provider to help Apple decide the request. This setting is off by default and you can turn it off at any time.

4. Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell or redistribute the App's content, reverse engineer the App, or use it in a way that breaks the law. Do not use the App while driving.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its text, design and software belong to us or our licensors. Road sign images are based on the U.S. Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and are in the public domain. Official handbooks belong to their respective states.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any test result, fine, or loss arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

7. Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the App.
